suspects in seven days
IMPD’s Violent Crime Unit (VCU)
identifies, tracks, and arrests the
worst of the worst in the city. Over
a seven-day period in February, this
small, but effective unit arrested
five suspects involved in three
separate murders including Shawn
Wilson, 27, for his alleged
involvement in the murder of pizza
delivery driver Daniel Jaffke on Jan.
31. This does not include the other
operations led by this dedicated
squad of detectives. They work
non-stop, around the clock to help
make our city safe.
