Daniel Jaffke

Memorial for Daniel P. Jaffke, a son, brother, and friend.

The Helper

The Helper

When Daniel's dad and I needed help with ANYTHING 99% of the time only
one person came to help us.  When Tom had open heart surgery with many complications we had a large house to keep up, an acre of lawn to mow and 3 vehicles that needed maintenance.  The ONLY person that came to help at all was Daniel.  He came on his only day off each and every week to mow the grass after driving 2 hours to get there and 2 hours back home because he had to work the next morning.  He still came every week.  So yeah we gave him more attention but it was only because he returned phone calls and texts and was the only one concerned about our welfare.  He never complained about it one time.

He can never be replaced.
I wish companies like Papa John's where Daniel
 worked on weekends
would understand that their employees are not just
calculated risks that they are willing to take.
It was the life of our son and our helper and my heart will never mend.
